Hey all,

Just looking for some guidance and support from anyone who has the letus mini and HV setup.

I am a complete newb in every since of the word when it comes to video and shooting. I am trying to suck in as much as possible before Saturday evening at which time I must somehow magically transform into Scorsese to make an amazing film of some wild exotic cats with my rig.

I have the following :

HV30
Letus 35 Mini
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
Shoulder mount
adobe premier pro CS3

I am having a very difficult time figuring out things like how to best set appeture settings on the lens/camera, also figuring out the best shooting settings on the HV30 in general with the letus attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you think I need to buy anything else which I can pickup at a retailer ( as I wont have time to have it shipped) please let me know as well.

I have the same setup except I have the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

You can set the aperture with your SLR, use the DOF Preview button suppressed and detach the lens from your SLR.
