Need more details to help you. What is your camera aperture? What is your external lens aperture? Are your ND filters on? Are you inside or outside? Did you take the lens cap off?

thanks for your interest. I took the shoot indoor and I set the camera to 1-60 shutter speed,I kept the f stop lower than 5.6 both camera and external lens aperture. ND filter was off and of course i took the lens cap off
however somehow I took the shoot well without any problem once. the image was OK but after 2 hours I turn my camcorder on than I had same problem. I did not get it I dont know why it happened?? I turn the all light in the room but when I look at the image from the LCD, the image is too dark.you can see the thing but its quite dark

I use the old fashion Nikon lens which is not SLR one but I used the SLR Nikon lens too and the SLR one was the worst you can not see any thing, its totally black.

the other thing is as I said before, once I took the shot without lighting problem there was enough light but I did not like the the image quality. Dof is ok but it looks grain and like dusty. hope you can help about it because I am a bit frustrated. thanks for your time and advise.

There are probably a few different factors at work here. Shooting indoors, you will most often need supplemental lighting to get good results. The speed of your Nikon lenses is a factor as well. If you have slow lenses, that is a problem. You may have to try opening up the Nikon lens and the EX1 lens as well to see what you can get. Your Nikons need to be manual aperture and manual focus lenses. Also, make sure the adapter is turned on!

thanks for your advices. I sort the dark image problem out but as you said I need additional lights for in door shots for the best result,
I have got Nikon D60 camera and Nikon lenses that came with the camera. that lenses hasn't got option for manual aperture and when I use that lens with the letus the image is dark, is there any possibility to use that lenses with the letus many thanks...

You might be able to set the aperture of the lens while it's on the D60, then take it off and put it on the Letus. Not an ideal system. You may want to look for some older, used Nikkors. I was able to find some fast manual Nikkors for around $200 each.
