Anybody here use the new follow focus indiFOCUSpro from indiSYSTEM? I heard their last follow focus was garbage, but does anybody know if the newest one is any good?

I have very little $$ and was wondering if this was a good "affordable" follow focus.

I haven't used the IndiFocus, but I'm quite happy with my Redrock Micro FF.

I just recieved my IndieFocus and Iīm happy with it.
It looks kind of selfmade and is quite huge for a follow focus but it works well.
I use it with Nikon primes and the Redrock follow focus gears.

If you canīt afford a better one (like me) go with it, itīs worth the 300 $.

Cool! With the money I have it seems to be my only option at this time.

Haven't used the indiefocus, but the RedRock works fine.
Only complaint about the RedRock is the set screws work loose on the gears. Need to re-tighten about every other day of shooting. I've also worked with the Zacuto FF http://store.zacuto.com/z-focus.html better design, but it's a bit pricey. "You get what you pay for."

Indiefocus looks like a poor design. ?? The RedRock & Zacuto can be adjusted with fingers on major adjustments. Allen wrenches on set-screws.

It might be too late to offer this advice, but I'd thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth.

I haven't bought anything yet. These vids always help; they are reviewing the earlier Indifocus FF though. It seems (according to Indifocus's website) they have addressed the gripes made in the video--let's see about how much play is still there...
