IT IS WITH REGRET,

BE WARNED FOR THOSE OF YOU MAKING ANY PURCHASE PARTICULARLY OUTSIDE OF THE USA FROM LETUS.

THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY IMMEDIATE RECTIFICATION OR REPLACEMENT OF FAULTY, DAMAGED GOODS.

WE HAVE PURCHASED LETUS MINI 19TH DECEMBER 2007. IMMEDIATELY ON TAKING IT OUT OF ITS BOX IT WAS FOUND TO BE DAMAGED, THE GROUND GLASS PLATE WAS NOT AFFIXED AND THE MOUNT ALLEN SCREW WAS MISSING.

LETUS ADVISED THEY ADMITTED THE UNIT WAS FAULTY, WE SENT E-MAILED DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE FAULTS. BUT COULD NOT REPLACE AND SUGGESTED WE EFFECT OUR OWN REPAIR AT OUR COST.
LETUS FURTHER ADVISED AFTER SEVERAL E-MAILS WHICH TOOK AGES TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE, TO RETURN THE DAMAGED UNIT AT OUR COST AGAIN, WHICH THEY COULD NOT REPLACE BUT WOULD ATTEMPT A REPAIR.

IS THIS THE SERVICE YOU EXPECT, IS THIS THE QUALITY OF GOODS YOU PAY FOR?

AS OF TODAY 7-02/08 WE ARE AT A STALEMATE EXCEPT LETUS SERVICE HAVE AGAIN REQUESTED WE TRY TO REPAIR THEIR FAULTY BADLY MADE,UNIT THAT IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REPLACEMENT MOUNT SCREW.

BE WARNED THAT THIS COMPANY HAVE NO INTEREST IN MAINTAINING AN HONOURABLE, HONEST , HELPFUL ATTITUDE WHEN THINGS GO WRONG, AND WRONG THEY CERTAINLY HAVE. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED, THEY DO NOT CARE, THEY HAVE NO PRIDE IN KEEPING CUSTOMERS CONFIDENT IN THEIR PRODUCT OR SERVICE.

THEY HAVE TAKEN OUR MONEY, AND NOT HONOURED SOLVING THE PROBLEMS QUICKLY TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE PAYING CUSTOMER.

I figured this post would show up

We have been more than accommodating. Offering service outside of our warranty. We have done everything within our power to resolve this situation in a timely manner.

The repair needed is a 2 minute project with a dab of glue. It was suggested the repair be done until we could build and ship a replacement.

Anyway, I will not address this further here. Previous customers may reply with their experiences as well.

I don't have the Mini, I'm an Extreme user, but I have to say, Aaron is AWESOME. There was delay with my order due to the phenomenal success of the Letus Extreme, and the exponential frenzy of customers that placed their orders, but Aaron was the one to continually remain in contact with me, personally writing me.

That, my friends, is as good as it gets.

While the wait was hell on earth for this impatient kid (referring to myself), it was and is Aaron's correspondence that has won my vote.

And, BTW, the unit ROCKS.

I have still to receive my letus but all I have had was outstanding and prompt service, I have dealt with Aaron and he has answered all my questions and has been very very helpful! So far all I have received was great service so I have purchased more product directly from letus (rod support system) without even having begun to use the extreme. You know how guys up-top are, unreasonable and cranky, they feel like they have to smear someone because they didn't get what they wanted, when they wanted, how they wanted. Stop being a big baby and go help someone in the world.

Ermm.. so far Aaron and team have been excellent. I've ordered mine early Feb and it arrived before end of Feb (delivered to a little country in S.E.Asia!). Everything in the box was in excellent condition, properly packed and sealed.. built of the Letus was worth every cent.. loving it.

Aaron's response time could have been faster but I understand with the amount of inquiries and replied he needs to do.. a day late is not an issue

I guess what Letus could do is to email you instructions, a screw and some glue to help you along... but I'm sure its not something that needs to be sent back. Do bear in mind, these things are tailor made.. i.e,.. usually by hand.. Good luck!

Considering the amount they must have shipped by now I do not think their reputation or the quality of the wwork is the problem.

Got my LEX a couple of months ago and so far nothing but a joy to use. No problems getting it imported from the USA and in fact I ordered pretty much everything else they offered as well.

My only complaint is the build quality: its such a well build piece it is a bit on the heavy side

Perhaps consider this to be a one off and work on a solution?
One thing I have learned is that over dramatic statements written in all-caps are usually ignored or not taken very serious. So not sure what you hope to achieve with this.
