Just looking at options for the Ultimate. Is anyone using the Zacuto system with the Ultimate? If so, which Zacuto parts did you order and are there any gotchas?

Cheers,
Peter

I will be - when I finally pick up the Zacuto items I ordered from NY.

I ordered the DOF Indie Baseplate Kit (I already have their followfocus). I'll let you know after the Sept 13th, when I'm back in Trinidad. In the mean time, you can see arrangements using the Letus and Zacuto gear if you google Steve Cahill or Philip Bloom and terms like Letus, Zacuto or EX1.

Or see here:

No gotchas so far. Added extra rod length (4.5") to allow for longer lenses and for the overall length of the EX3.

Fabulous build quality of the Zacuto gear - and no scratches and other evidence of poor finishing and careless handling/packing, unlike others I have.
