No matter what new batteries I put in my Letus Ultimate (serial number 117), the battery light goes from green to flashing red within about a second of turning on and then remains flashing red. The adapter will still spin for a couple of minutes or so but keeps switching itself off after a while.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Letus - is this a known fault? Can anyone offer a fix for this other than using external power / D-tap? I am using an EX1 so would like to use AA batteries as the power source.
