So you've shot your footage using a Letus35 and now have some great DOF. How do you take the production value to the next level? I've been using an awesome product created by Andrew Kramer over at VideoCopilot.net

If you use Adobe After Effects for post, you really need to grab a copy of Film Magic Pro. It's an amazing product at even a better price.

FMP is much, much faster than the Magic Bullet Look suite as well which can really speed up your production times.

Anyway, I'm sure many of you have already heard about (or use) Film Magic Pro. If not, head over to VideoCopilot.net and check it out. You find all sorts of goodies over there in addition to FMP.

I don't personally know of anything like this collection for FCP but I'm sure there is something out there.

Thanks for the heads up DeGrey - after seeing this post I went to VideoCoPilot.com and spent a lot of time looking at their various training DVD's and After Effects plug-ins. I ended up ordering Film Magic Pro for After Effects CS3.

Another great resource that I would recommend is Stu Maschwitz's "The DV Rebel's Guide".

It also comes with a lot of extras for After Effects.

There is also a great chapter in the supplemental materials DVD that is all about your camera settings and using a 35mm adapter such as the Letus Extreme.

This is great reading for any filmmaker and I highly recommend it!

Color, which comes with the final cut studio, is absolutely awesome. whach some tutorials. it is far more advanced then film magic pro, which also means it requires more knowledge. It's arithmetic is based on the same as Shake and leading post-production programs...

i have recently purchased letus35

what i like abou it?

well here are the things i really like about:

1.Image Orientation Correction technology (IOC)
2.A sleek, built-in On/Off indicator with LED
3.Casing milled from solid aluminum
4.PL mount and OCT19 mount also available at a discounted price if selected as the primary mount on the Extreme

My favorite is on YouTube at www.youtube.com/booktrailers, but I also like the new ones on the BN.com site at www.bn.com and go to the BN Studio, and I love the Borders Media site too. VidLits are pretty cool www.vidlits.com. http://www.youtube.com/booktrailers
